Cooper Industries to Participate in the Longbow Research Industrial Manufacturing & Technology Conference

Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE) today announced it would participate
in the Longbow Research Industrial Manufacturing & Technology Conference
held in New York City on September 16, 2010.
The presentation and comments by Coopers Chief Financial Officer, David
Barta, will begin at approximately 2:00 pm EDT.
A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available in the
Investors section of the Companys website, www.cooperindustries.com.
The Company recommends that listeners download and install any necessary
audio software at least 15 minutes prior to the presentation. An audio
replay will be available on the website through September 30.
Coopers presentation may include references to non-GAAP financial
measures. Cooper will post a reconciliation of those measures to the
most directly comparable GAAP measures in the Investors section of the
Companys website.
